Conheci o Andy na faculdade. Apareceu no Porto vindo da pequena ilha dos Açores, o Pico. Com ele comecei este projeto. A minha musa de predição. Lembro-me das nossas conversas a falar das nossas relações. De quando ele namorou com um bailarino, e eu fiquei maravilhada a imagina-los os dois. Porque o Andy tem um ar de musa francesa, a ingenuidade, a calma, a beleza. E foi com ele que comecei a perceber a diferença que existe nas relações entre homossexuais e heterossexuais. Porque as relações que eu tinha eram construídas em cima de tabus, e conceitos definidos pela sociedade. E com isso vinha o receio e o medo, e a pressão de ser igual aos outros. Mas com o Andy, ele era o próprio tabu. E vivendo como um tabu, o que é o resto?
I've meet Andy in college. He appeared in Porto from Azores's small island called Pico. I started this project with him. My muse. I remember our conversations about our relationships. When he dated with a ballet dancer, and I was amazed imaginem the two of them. Because Andy has this look like a french muse, the beauty, the calm, and the ingenuity. And it was with him that I started to realize the difference between a heterosexual relationship and a homosexual relationship. Because the relationships that I had, were made in tabus, and concepts made from society. And that is followed with scare and pressure to be the same. But with Andy, he was the tabu himself. And living like a tabu, what it the rest?
